Abstract

Four/Four is a documentary project completed in 2020 during the height of local event closures, exploring the local scene of house and techno music in Wellington. Included are portraits of up and coming and established Djs and promoters, during an awkward time when no-one knew what to expect for the future of the live music and nightlife scene in Wellington. As of 2023, all of these artists and promoters continue to build on what the scene has to offer and enhance the community by carving out an identity for themselves and others.
